The Hills District of Sydney is located around 30 to 40km north west of Sydney. The Hills Shire Council is the local council for this region and is responsible for the suburbs running east of Old Windsor Road to Old Northern Road and for suburbs running north of the M2 Motorway all the way up to the Hawkesbury River at Wisemans Ferry.
This area is very popular due to its large range of amenities, housing options, public transport options and work options available. It also has some of the best public schools in the state of New South Wales, making it very popular for families.
